Continuing education programs at NYUCD range from one-day to two-years full-time. Certainly, a part-time continuing dental education program is not the same as a full-time two-year academic program. The "Current Concepts in American Dentistry" program certificate has recently been redesigned to avoid any confusion with other NYUCD certifications particularly the full-time two (2) year program. All certificates should fairly reflect the achievements of the participant and not be misleading or confusing. Finally, please note this continuing dental education certificate program is not applicable to any formal degree program but is an acknowledgement of the participant's commitment to professional growth and development.
